Welcome to a wine evening with Domaine Saint-Rémy from Alsace!

On Thursday 5 November, Bar Astell welcomes Margot from Domaine Saint-Rémy, a family-owned estate in Alsace dating back to 1725!

The Ehrhart family is deeply committed to sustainable viticulture and has farmed biodynamically for many years. With hand-harvested grapes, natural fermentation and slow winemaking, they create fantastic wines with fresh acidity, lovely minerality and a clear sense of place.

During the evening we’ll explore the breadth of the family’s wines! From elegant white and rosé sparkling to fresh, mineral-driven Riesling, full-bodied Pinot Gris and elegant Pinot Noir. We’ll also get to know their Grand Cru Riesling from Schlossberg – one of Alsace’s most renowned vineyard sites.

Margot will be on hand to talk about the wines, the family’s history and the philosophy behind their biodynamic farming.
